Open Youth Auditions
Become a Youth Associate or join the Youth Company by coming to an Open Audition.
Auditions are for emerging artists and young people looking for pre-professional training and opportunities at Auckland Theatre Company.
At the audition, you will:
- Play fun games and theatre exercises
- Hear about the Youth Arts programmes
- Share what excites you in theatre

Youth Company
We’re looking for aspiring actors aged from 18 to 25 years old to join our Youth Company; an ensemble of artists exploring theatre, cultivating craft and creating new work.
Youth Associates
We’re looking for rangatahi who love theatre to join Auckland Theatre Company for 2024 as Youth Associates, to sample theatre skills and to see the plays in the company’s 2024 season.
