About.
A true New Zealand classic, this is the first Auckland production of Middle Age Spread in twenty-five years and a rare chance to see some of NZ's finest acting talent.
Colin (Greg Johnson), a fortyish Kiwi schoolteacher is promoted to principle, which normally would be cause for celebration. Unfortunately, he is undergoing several midlife crises, not least of which is his obsession with gorgeous fellow teacher Judy (Robyn Malcolm). At a dinner party hosted by Colin and his blasé wife Elizabeth (Geraldine Brophy), the truth is painfully and hilariously brought to the forefront. As the wine bottles empty and polite conversation disintegrates, regrets and revelations spill over.
