Marc, Serge and Yvan have been friends for 15 years. However, when Serge outlays a small fortune for a piece of modern art, about five feet by four, all white, their previously unchallenged enjoyment of each other's company is tested. As debate over the purchase becomes ever less amicable and the trio are reduced to questioning what they had in common in the first place, only and artful sacrifice can repair the breach and restore the bonds of friendship.
