Gerard-Luke is very excited to take on this smash hit musical that he has grown up with, and delighted to play ‘Pablo’ in this his first Amici production.
His grounding in musical theatre came from a range of wonderful shows he was cast in at St Peter’s College from 2010 - 2014. These included Blood Brothers, Ragtime, Les Miserables, playing ‘Mereb’ in Aida and ‘Officer Lockstock’ in Urinetown.
Gerard-Luke went straight into pro-am shows in 2016 with Evita 2016 and playing ‘Chester’ in Saturday Night Fever. Earlier this year Gerard-Luke was also challenged with the up and coming musical Hamilton The Concert, where he played ‘Aaron Burr’.
Gerard-Luke is a physiotherapy student at AUT and runs a restaurant in Silverdale. He would like to dedicate this performance to his Grandad who passed away in September.
